Embark Sustainability presents Indigenous Led Land Stewardship — BC Alliance for Arts + Tradition

The next is excerpted from Embark Sustainability.

Get popcorn and a pen prepared! Let’s be taught, mirror, and advocate for Indigenous-led land stewardship collectively.

We‘ll begin off this occasion by watching a documentary quick movie by Carter Kirilenko referred to as Salmon Parks, which follows an Indigenous-led motion to revive British Columbia’s wild salmon inhabitants. We’ll then host a facilitated dialogue and letter writing session the place we’ll advocate for Indigenous land stewardship to those that maintain energy.

Be a part of us to be taught extra about present Indigenous-led efforts, ask questions, and take motion!

Our thanks and recognition to CPAWS-BC for his or her contribution to the creation of Salmon Parks.
