MANILA, Philippines — President-elect Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. will designate Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) spokesperson Col. Ramon Zagala as his senior army assistant (SMA) and because the subsequent commander of the Presidential Safety Group (PSG).
AFP public affairs workplace chief Col. Jorry Baclor confirmed this to INQUIRER.web on Sunday, but additionally clarified that there is no such thing as a official order for the designation but.
“He can be designated efficient June 30 pero wala pang official order (however there is no such thing as a official order but),” stated Baclor.
“However he can be designated for positive kasi si Col. Zagala na ‘yung nag-confirm (as a result of Col. Zagala had already confirmed it himself),” he added.
In accordance Baclor, Zagala can be serving the 2 designation in performing capacities.
Zagala will exchange outgoing PSG commander, Brig. Gen. Randolph Cabangbang.
As the subsequent PSG chief, Zagala will head the duty to protect and make sure the security of President-elect Marcos Jr.
